Configure the LUMA Glossary entry for an analytics portal
An analytics portal shows its QLIK report only once a Glossary entry in LUMA provides the report’s session check URL. This page explains how to create that entry. To add the analytics page itself, users follow Configure an analytics portal.
Create the Glossary entry
The analytics page requires a Glossary entry in LUMA that contains the QLIK session check URL. Without this configuration, a warning message displays on the analytics page instead of the report.
-
In LUMA, navigate to Console and select Glossaries.
-
Add a new Glossary entry.
-
Set the title to exactly the following:
uk.co.itgcanopy.qlik-session-check-url
-
In the Protection field, select Session.
-
In the Content section, enter the QLIK URL in the following JSON format, replacing the example URL with your QLIK report URL:
{ "value": "https://your-qlik-report-url" } -
Save the Glossary entry.
The analytics portal will now display the configured QLIK report.
| If the Glossary entry title is incorrect, or if there is an issue with the report URL, a warning message will display on the analytics page. Check the title and URL are correct before investigating further. |
