Enable application navigation

Application navigation allows users to move between the AJS application and CMP portals from a single navigation menu, without separate logins. Enabling it requires adding path values to the "CMP Angular Base Path" Glossary entry in LUMA.

Configure the LUMA Glossary entry

  1. In LUMA, navigate to Console and select Glossaries.

  2. Locate the CMP Angular Base Path Glossary entry.

  3. In the Content field, enter the following JSON, replacing the placeholder values with the correct paths for your environment:

    {
      "sitePath": "https://cmp.storyteq.work/${domainName}/site/${siteName}",
      "portalPath": "https://cmp.storyteq.work/${domainName}/portal/${siteName}",
      "portalsApiPath": "https://portalsapi.storyteq.work"
    }
    The variables ${domainName} and ${siteName} are resolved automatically at runtime. Replace only the base URL portions with the values for your environment.
  4. Save the Glossary entry.

Once configured, users logged into the AJS application will see CMP portals listed in the left-hand main navigation menu. Selecting a portal redirects the user to that portal in CMP. Users can navigate back to the AJS application from the left-hand navigation within CMP.

Only portals the user has permission to access will be displayed in the navigation menu.
